Baby naming and baptismal ceremonies are a special way of celebrating the birth of a child, welcoming the new arrivals into the family and the wider community of family and friends.

It is also ideally suited to welcome and celebrate an adoptive child into the family or to embrace stepchildren into a new family.  A perfect way to bond a family unit.

There are two types of welcoming ceremonies.  One is called a baptism (or christening).  The other is called a naming.  The baptism is religious, the naming is not.  We also have ceremonies that combine both.  A signed and witnessed certificate, suitable for framing, will be given, to remember this very special moment.

During the baptism or naming ceremony celebration, the child receives a name, the parents pledge themselves to their child the highest and best welfare.  Godparents or pledges are also included in a civic or spiritual ceremony.

Married or unmarried couples, single parents, may make use of this service.  There is no pressure on anyone to explain their own spirituality or lifestyle.  The parents are not asked to affirm anything they do not believe in.

The celebration ceremony may be held at a location of the parents’ choosing.  A beautiful ceremony surrounded by family and friends is a wonderful way to celebrate the arrival of your blessed child.
